- It is possible to build yourself a cable which you can connect on the one side
- with the IDE cable and on the other side with the CD-ROM but IMHO it is
- cheaper to get a standard IDE cable where the distance between the two
- connectors is bigger then on the original cable (ask for a IDE cable for a
- tower).
-
- BTW: Due to the size of my CD-ROM I had to mount my HD upside down.

- I use a commercial programm called IDEFIX. You can find a demo of this
- software on Aminet.
-
- idefix.lha disk/misc 247K 22+Newest Demo (104.1) of the IDE-fix...
- updidfx2.lha biz/patch 80K 5*Bugfix, updates IDEfix 104.1 to 105.2
-
- As far as I can remember this demo has a time limit, meaning that after about
- 10 - 15 minutes you get a requester. After the third requester you have to
- reboot because the software switches off.

-
- Sorry, never tried this two formats but as far as I know you have to use
- special software to read PhotoCD (correct me if I'm wrong).
-
- However you should be able to read standard ISO 9660 CDs and Rockridge CDs
- with this software.
-
- >4. How do I make it CD32 compatible?
-
- There is a CD32 emulator included in the commercial version. Sorry, don't know
- whether this also aplies to the demo version. However I never managed to run
- Simon the Sorcerer correctly (speech was rather distorted).

- No need to apologise. Hope I could help.
